REclaimED Inc. is a product of Poultney residents and Green Mountain College (GMC) alumni coming together to carry on some aspects of the recently closed school. The location and most of the equipment is available due to the Renewable Energy & Ecological Design (REED) major faculty, staff and students that embodied the environmental mission of GMC. REclaimED is expanding the shop to include education and more participation for local schools, entrepreneurs, and residents, with a focus on environmentally sustainable designing, building and manufacturing.

REclaimED is a community makerspace utilizing hands-on approaches to build sustainable skills and knowledge, fostering creative, educational, and mentoring opportunities in Poultney and the surrounding areas.
At REclaimED, we strive to provide users with education and guidance for hands-on skills related to the areas of art and craft. We also aim to provide established makers with a place to pursue their craft as well as collaborate with others.
